Novotel Bordeaux Lac, Bordeaux

I had a lovely stay at the hotel, with clean and spacious rooms and friendly staff. While the service was generally good, there were some lapses in clearing up outside. The location was convenient, just a short walk to the tram station for easy access to the city center. The dining experience was pleasant, although some more variety for breakfast would be nice.

The hotel is a great option for families with kids thanks to the tea and coffee facilities and lovely books and games in the rooms. However, the rooms got too hot, requiring keeping the window open throughout the night. The service was mostly friendly and helpful, although one staff member had a bad attitude. The location, although not ideal for quick stays, being on the outskirts of Bordeaux, offers easy access to the city center with a tram stop right outside. The dining experience was delightful, especially with the gluten-free options available. The facilities met expectations, providing a pleasant stay overall.

The hotel rooms have a very nice view of the lake and are very comfortable. The staff is friendly. The hotel facilities in the restaurant and lounge are very good, though the rooms are tiny, requiring an additional fee. It would be nice if the hotel could make the rooms smell a bit better.
